• Co-founded MASC, with Jan Andrews. MASC is Eastern Ontario’s most successful multi disciplinary arts education resource. Served as Executive director for almost 20 years.

• Co-founded, with Jan Andrews, 2 women productions ( 2wp ),  Canada’s only organization dedicated specifically to the creation, development and production of fine adult storytelling.

• Received the Victor Tolgesy Award given annually for a significant contribution to Ottawa’s cultural life.

• Supported the growth of storytelling as a recognized art form at the local, provincial and national level through involvement with Storytellers of Canada, Ottawa Storytellers and Storytelling Toronto

• Worked with Mariposa in the Schools and The Company of Fools at key junctures in these companies’ development to guide the creation  of  comprehensive strategic plans.

• Used traditional storytelling and creative activities to assist communications personnel at Parks Canada in clarifying challenging issues they were facing and in identifying possible solutions.
